We use that relationship to source furnishings and finishes for projects in Barbados, reviewing specifications for Caribbean conditions before recommending them.
Container shipping from China typically runs 8–12 weeks door to door, plus 1–2 weeks clearing in Bridgetown; made-to-order pieces add 3–5 weeks of production before they sail. We consolidate orders where we can, so telling us the whole schedule of finishes early usually saves both money and weeks.
